The following dynojet runs show comaparable results between different GenIII 3s-gte stock swaps with CT20b turbos. We noted how there is a typical 10rwhp drop as full boost is achieved, the greater the boost the more obvious the drop. The factory wastegate actuator is unable to hold the flapper door closed under elevated boost. This has been found to occur from 19 psi to 22 psi of boost. This can account for up to a 30rwhp difference in identical cars.

Tech notes:

  1. The factory GenIII fuel system can support 300-320rhwp unmodified which is achievable on 93 octane.
  2. The stock fuel system can support upwards of 360rwhp by rewiring the fuel pump with a relay and 12 gauge wire from alternator feed at kick panel. Increase base fuel pressure by crushing lid of factory fuel pressure regulator.
  3. Defeat factory fuel cut using greddy e-manage, or an active clamp boost cut eliminator.
  4. Stock intercooler has made 320rwhp range on 93 octane and 350rwhp on 100 octane.
