Eric Hux has 15 years of CNC Machining experience in automotive prototype development. He holds a degree in Numerical Control Technology backed with 7+ years of experience in Multiaxis Swiss Screw machine programming. Eric's machining and engineering capabilities are made into artlike form with his 7 years of Welding experience. His speciality has been building Toyota 4 cylinder 2.0 & hybrid 2.2 high performance engines for drag racing. Currently he has developed the most horsepower on gas in a hybrid 2.2 liter Toyota 3s-gte to date making 800+ horsepower. Many products were created, tested, and developed by Eric for our race motors due to unavailability of product for high horsepower demands. From designing engine internals, drivetrain development, and engine management tuning Eric has a well rounded and diverse background to offer.

The other founder of Hux Racing is wife Emily Hux.
She began drag racing at the track in 1999 and has actively been the driver for testing new setups and product development for the Toyota Mr2. Current license is a NHRA crossover license for gas dragster & door car. Her main focus is to keep up with new aftermarket industry product, drag racing developments, & restoration / auto exterior products available to customers.
